How do we confirm a booking?
After we chat and schedule a date, I ask you to pay a 25% deposit to reserve your session.
Where do we meet?
You can choose your own preferred setting or location in Lisbon. Or we can meet on one of my two favourite meeting points. One is by the Sé de Lisboa - the city's cathedral - its great for exploring the best photo spots around Alfama and the Tagus River. The other is at Restauradores, good for exploring the Bairro Alto and Chiado neighbourhoods.
What is my photographic approach?
My main goal is to provide you with really beautiful photos that represent who you are and how you feel. If you don’t enjoy being in front of the camera, I will focus on a photojournalistic approach. If you trust me to take some posed photos, we can also do some really cool portraits!
Can you give me any tips for the session?
Keep your personal style but elevate the look. I think there is no wrong colour or pattern. Anything can work if styled in the right way. Dress comfortably so that you are not constantly self aware that something has to be adjusted. Comfy shoes are ideal for the Portuguese pavements. Travel light. Less is more. Be happy;)
And what about special places in Lisbon?
Absolutely. I've lived in Lisbon for more than 30 years. And accordingly to your interests I will recommend the best spots in town.
How many photos will we get?
This depends on some variables, as no two sessions are alike. But as a general rule, it depends mostly of the time we spend together. For a one hour session you can expect to receive between 30 to 45 images. Please keep in mind that I focus on quality rather than quantity.
Do you photograph outside Lisbon?
I also shoot in Cascais and Sintra. Other locations on request. I charge travel costs for any location more than 30 km outside Lisbon.
Will you be the person taking our portrait?
Yes! It's just me behind the lens.
When will we receive our photos? And how?
I will send you the images by email via a link within a week. And, if you wish, a few sneak peeks the day after the shoot.
Do you do albums?
Yes, I can do a customised album for you.
